Lock Down Day 9

Movie time with Family


Here I'm back for again with the things that i did during the 9th Day of lock down.

Spent some quality time with parents, watched an Bollywood cinema "Hindi Medium" with them,

Played ludo online with some of my friends,

Texts/Call with some of the friends/relatives,

Had Dinner,

Finally forgot to write the blog yesterday, so i'm writing it down the next day as I remembered after I went to the bed and was feeling lazy to get back up and start writing the blog.

Haha that will conclude the Day 9 of the lock down.

I always wondered about why everyone from every city or corner of our country wants to live in Kathmandu valley. Simply put I got my answer as soon as I came to valley to pursue my higher education. It has more opportunities and facilities to every man who lands his/her foot in this place. Valley is a great, vibrant, diverse city. But, personally I find Kathmandu as not so great city to live due to it's pollution, water problem and traffic jams. And all the time I was highly irritated with these traffic jams, wished there was a way to get to valley from my own hometown under 30 minutes. As I mentioned my hometown "Hetauda" is about 80km by the shortest route and about 220km through the other great city "Bharatpur" from the valley. Lock down Day 1

What I did during the lock down ? These are some of the things I did during the lock down due to COVID-19 or novel Corona virus. 1. We're surviving in a pandemic, observed some of the pandemics from the history got to know that before the industrial revolution i.e. before 1950s every decade a new outbreak was occuring but after the 1950s the frequency of the outbreaks have increased. And as there's always aftershock after an major earthquake there's a possibility of the diseases to recurr as the viruses might mutate.  2. Since, our country has a poor health facility one of my friend being an enthusiastic engineer was trying to make Personal Protection Equiment (PPE) for the medical officers as in case of Italy every 10 in 1 person in Italy who died due to COVID-19 was a medical personnel.
